So touched, moved, happy…A yoga student who has been attending one of my gentle, slow classes once a week for just over a year told me this morning that she had radical surgery for breast cancer 35 years ago and had been living with pain in her shoulders/neck and throughout the entire area where there was scar tissue ever since. But yoga, with all of the gentle, slow stretching we do in class, has given her tremendous pain relief. “Imagine,” she said, “that such an old injury could get better after 35 years!”
